I'm officially back...

Before I begin, I will apologize to my loyal blog followers for not posting sooner.

My life has literally been crazy since the last post. I now know what it feels like to live out of a suitcase and be homeless. Matt and I moved back to Raleigh (yay!) on July 29 and have been living with his parents (Thanks to them for taking us in!). We currently have stuff in their storage room, his bedroom, his brother's room, and don't forget the 2/3 of my stuff that is still at my mom's house.

We are in the process of building our apartment or bungalow as his dad puts it. We have finished wiring, priming, painting, putting up the ceiling, doing the molding, the tile floors, and now we (I saw "we" very lightly) are putting up the framing around the windows. I have no clue how people build huge houses. It has been hard enough just finalizing all of the details for this one bedroom place. Looks like we have a few more weeks before we can settle in. I sure can't wait to reopen the wedding presents and set up our home!

I have also gone back to work (hubster is thankful that I am now financially contributing to this marraige) and my students are AWESOME! I have a great group of kids who are behaving so far (knock on wood...quick). I only have a few that like to talk excessively. I swear one of my sweet children doesn't stop from the minute he walks in until the minute he leaves (and then I can still hear him down the hallway). Now I know what I put my teachers through for so many years! I would have hated to have me in my class.

A brief look at what we have done so far on the apartment:
